EDU is a Web-based assessment engine marketed by Brownstone learning. EDU was developed to ease the creation and administration of assignments and tests to large classes.

UNL faculty currently use the EDU assessment system in many subject areas; including math, statistics, geology, history, astronomy, physics, psychology, educational psychology, chemistry, biology, political science, music, distance education courses, and several others.

EDU's strength lies in the fact that it can be used in any discipline and will accommodate many teaching and learning styles.
