George Gogos, Craig Zuhlke and Jeffrey Shield are part of a $9.2 million grant awarded by the Department of Defense to a team headed by Northrop Grumman Corp. The goal of the research is to create smaller, scalable 3D stacks of chips and heat transfer technologies that will help regulate thermal management in those structures.
